For such delicate options, I always try to do this manipulation so that the onion does not overpower all the other ingredients with its taste and smell.

And you can add it to a common bowl.

4. Chop the Chinese cabbage into strips and add to the rest of the ingredients. It is better to cut out “thick” veins.

By the way, I once prepared a salad where I cut the cabbage into small squares, and it looked very attractive. In general, choose any cutting method, it’s up to your wishes. It is clear that this will not affect the quality of taste in this version.

5. Cut the ham and cheese into thin strips and add them to the waiting ingredients.

Add corn, and optional salt and pepper, but do not forget that there is a sufficient amount of it in cheese and mayonnaise. Season the slices with mayonnaise sauce and stir.
