Christmas tree salad for the New Year with kiwi. Recipe: Salad "Exotic for the New Year" - with kiwi

A Christmas tree is an indispensable attribute of the New Year, and a salad in the shape of a Christmas tree will undoubtedly decorate the festive table. I have repeatedly prepared many salads in the form of a green beauty, and one of the options that I really like is a kiwi tree. This salad is very light in composition, with fruity notes of pineapple and kiwi that go well with chicken. Delight your guests with a beautiful and tasty salad!

Cut the chicken into cubes and place in a cone shape. My chicken is homemade, the meat is from the thigh. Apply a mesh of mayonnaise to the meat. I don’t recommend overloading this salad with mayonnaise, as it is already quite juicy. A fine mesh is enough to hold the layers in place.

Place a layer of pineapples on the chicken, sprinkle with chopped garlic cloves and brush with mayonnaise.

Sprinkle the carrots with cheese, grated on a fine grater. Apply mayonnaise. Also sprinkle the cheese with chopped garlic cloves.

The next layer is grated eggs and mayonnaise again.

Peel the kiwi and cut into thin slices, lay overlapping on top of the salad, starting from the bottom.

Lightly coat the Christmas tree with grated cheese and place a little cheese on the bottom as well. Garnish with pomegranate seeds or cranberries.

Happy New Year, everyone!

To make a holiday not only on the table, but also in the soul, you need to decorate the table in a special way. Moreover, when the New Year is approaching, you should always try to prepare something special, solemn and unlike anything else. The New Year's Christmas tree salad with kiwi, a recipe with a photo of which I decided to offer, is so interesting that you want to eat it as soon as possible. Each of your guests cannot resist praising you.

You will spend the evening fun, with enthusiasm and eat delicious food. You can buy a real Christmas tree, decorate it with garlands and toys, but if you also bring an edible Christmas tree to the guests’ table, then you will become the best hostess for the whole next year.

Required Products:

- 200 grams of carrots;
- 200 grams of processed cheese;
- 150 grams of beans;
- half an onion;
- 2-3 tables. l. vinegar;
- 1 tea. l. granulated sugar;
- 150 grams of mayonnaise;
- 200 grams of kiwi;
- fresh dill.

Step-by-step recipe with photos:

I grate the cheese, pour in half the mayonnaise and stir. I squeeze a clove of garlic into the mayonnaise in advance to make the salad more flavorful. I put the cheese with garlic mayonnaise in a Christmas tree shape on a plate.

Boil carrots until soft. I grate it on a fine grater. And I put a carrot layer on top of the cheese.

I cut the onions into half rings and marinate them in vinegar diluted in water with the addition of granulated sugar. Usually 100 grams of water is enough for 2-3 tablespoons. Marinate the onion for 10-15 minutes.

I distribute the pickled onions on the Christmas tree. There shouldn’t be a lot of it, but a small amount will play an important role. In the salad, the onions will be crispy and not spicy, since after pickling the onions lose their bitterness.

I pour mayonnaise over it so that each layer is covered with sauce.

The next layer is canned beans. The beans should be in their own juice; it is not advisable to use them in tomato sauce. But in any case, I drain the marinade.

Now I’m forming the composition of the Christmas tree. I place dill sprigs and kiwi slices on the surface of the salad. Then I decorate with any vegetables I want.

You can design a star on the top and hang Christmas tree decorations in the form of some berries. There are different options here, wherever your imagination takes you.

I hope that you will like not only the design of the Christmas tree salad, but also its taste, since the salad turns out to be balanced and very tasty. This salad makes both a table decoration and a wonderful dish.

1 boiled carrot;
2 apples;
1 tbsp. l. lemon juice;

Cut the peeled apple into cubes and sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent the apple from darkening. Apply apples to carrots and grease with mayonnaise.

Sprinkle the top of the salad with grated yolks. We peel the remaining kiwis, cut them and place them on the yolks, forming the “needles” of our Christmas tree. Decorate the Christmas tree with a pepper star and cut out diamonds in the shape of toys. Such a delicious salad will never go unnoticed on the holiday table.

Bon appetit!

  1. Kiwi salad “Yolochka” is prepared like this. First, we need to boil the chicken fillet in salted water until fully cooked. Wash the carrots and boil them until tender. We will hard-boil chicken eggs for about 10 minutes from the start of boiling water. After this, let the ingredients cool so that you can work with them.
  2. Cut the cooled chicken fillet into small pieces and immediately place it on a flat dish, forming an outline like a Christmas tree. We should get a uniform layer, with clear edges. Peel 2 kiwis and then cut them into small pieces of arbitrary shape. Place the chopped kiwi in a second layer.
  3. Now we will cool the eggs in cold water and remove the shells from them. Separate the yolks from the whites. Pass the whites through a medium grater, and in a small bowl mix the mayonnaise with the garlic pressed through a press. First, lay the whites on top of our Christmas tree, and then coat them with the resulting garlic sauce.
  4. Note that you can use homemade mayonnaise to suit your taste, or use garlic sauce that your family loves instead. In addition, you can use sour cream and mayonnaise in a 50/50 ratio with the addition of salt, garlic and ground black pepper to taste. It is better to let this sauce sit a little in the refrigerator.
  5. We peel the already cooled carrots and pass them through a medium grater. It will become our next layer, lay it out carefully, keeping the lines of the Christmas tree clear. We also apply mayonnaise with garlic on top of the carrots.
  6. At this stage, we peel and core the apples. We will cut the apples themselves into small cubes and sprinkle them with lemon juice. This is done to prevent the apples from darkening. Next, we lay out the prepared apples in the next even layer and also coat them with garlic sauce.
  7. Now we will mash the yolks into crumbs with a fork and sprinkle them on our salad. Peel the remaining kiwis and cut into rings or half rings to taste. Now, with their help, we lay out needles and twigs on our Christmas tree, as in the photo. Place the salad in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  8. In the meantime, we will wash the bell pepper, remove the seeds and rinse it again in cool water. Using a knife that is convenient for you, we cut out decorations for our Christmas tree. Various toys in the form of triangles and diamonds, and most importantly a star, which will flaunt on the top of our edible New Year tree.

That's all. Thus, you and I managed to prepare an unusual “Yolochka” kiwi salad for your family. This is a dish that would have a place in the center of the holiday table. In addition, a simple recipe will explain in detail the method of preparing it to everyone. Serve it quickly for the holiday!

If you wish, you can decorate the “New Year tree” to your taste. It could be dried apricots, raisins, nuts, etc. In the salad, you can pepper and salt the layers to taste. In some cooking methods, it is recommended to use boiled rice as the first layer of salad.
