Add the chopped mushrooms and simmer the mixture until the mushrooms soften. Add tomato puree, Worcestershire sauce, broth, basil, salt and pepper and gradually bring the resulting mass to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for another 20 minutes.

Boil the potatoes for 20 minutes in salted water until softened. Drain the water, mash the potatoes with a fork, add butter and hot milk. Whisk the puree until smooth.

Place the meat mixture in the pan, top it with mashed potatoes and smooth it out with a fork. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes until golden brown.

The sour cream that we have left needs to be well salted, since the zucchini was not seasoned with anything. Pepper and any other spices are allowed. Grate the cheese coarsely. Take out the zucchini casserole, brush with sauce, and cover with cheese. Cook for another twenty minutes.

You can not spread the minced meat over the zucchini, but roll it into small meatballs and simply scatter them mixed with pieces of mushrooms.

Pour the rice into the greased pan, level it, and cover with a layer of minced meat. Distribute mushrooms and onions on top. Pour the cheese mixture over it all and spread it.

Place the minced meat casserole with mushrooms in the oven and bake for half an hour. Then leave for 15 minutes. Let it get a little stronger and divide it into portions. Supplement with herbs and fresh vegetables.

The type of mushrooms is not indicated here, and they can be absolutely anything; it works great even with pickled champignons, honey mushrooms, and chanterelles.

This dish is one of our childhood favorites. This recipe for potato casserole is prepared from mashed potatoes with the addition of minced beef, as well as grated cheese, thanks to which the shape is retained when cut and an additional, interesting and piquant taste is obtained.

To prepare the dish we will need: half a kilogram of ground beef, one onion, a dozen potatoes, 150 grams of cheese, three chicken eggs, three tablespoons of breadcrumbs, two or three tablespoons of sour cream. Well, now a step-by-step recipe for how to prepare potato casserole in the oven.

Cooking process

Peel the potatoes and boil them in salted water. Mash into puree and let cool. Then add flour and eggs, mix thoroughly. Fry the peeled chopped onion in vegetable oil in a frying pan.
