As a rule, puff pastry pie with apples is made without the use of jam and other additional ingredients. However, we still decided to use the mentioned sweetness in order to prepare the most delicious and tender dessert.

So, before you bake puff yeast-free dough with apples in the oven, the purchased fruits should be carefully processed. To do this, they must be washed in warm water, peeled (if it is too hard), and then cut into quarters and remove the seed box. Next, the apples should be chopped into thinner slices.

Pie shaping

To form a puff pastry pie with apples, the base should be removed from the cold in advance and thawed at room temperature. After it becomes soft, ½ of the product needs to be rolled into a large square layer, sprinkled with light flour. After placing it on a greased form, you need to carefully cut off the hanging edges with culinary scissors. Next, put a few tablespoons of thick jam on the base and evenly distribute it using a knife with a blunt end. After that, the dough must be covered with thin slices of apples, sprinkled with chopped cinnamon and granulated sugar.

To make a delicious and juicy cake, you should purchase only fresh and sweet fruits. They must be washed in hot water, and then peeled and cut into slices. Next, the apples need to be peeled from the seed box and cut into thinner slices.

It should be noted that for the preparation of any fruit pie, it is necessary to use sugar. This is due to the fact that apples are not always sweet enough to make the whole dessert as tasty as possible.

Thus, it is necessary to take powdered sugar and mix it with crushed cinnamon.

We form a dessert

Before forming an apple pie, the yeast puff pastry should be thawed by placing it in a warm room. Next, the base must be divided into two parts, and then rolled into layers.

One thin yeast leaf needs to be spread on a baking sheet greased with ghee, and then carefully place thin slices of sweet apples on it. After that, the entire filling should be generously sprinkled with a dry mixture of powdered sugar and cinnamon. If you do not like the taste of the last ingredient, then you can not use it.

For two reasons: I buy ready-made puff pastry for the pie - I thawed it, rolled it out a little, stuffed it and everything is ready; and the second reason for the speed of the pie is that I don't peel apples. I chop them into small cubes right with the skin on. Why would goodness disappear? Nobody, believe me, will notice the difference. I baked this pie late in the evening when I was tired and didn’t feel like anything at all ... it’s just that the dough was already defrosted and you can’t get anywhere ... and so - this is a very quick recipe. BOOM - and you're done.

  1. Defrost the prepared puff pastry.
  2. Wash and cut apples into small cubes (removing the core)
  3. Add cinnamon, sugar, a little flour to the apples, mix everything.
  4. Grease a baking dish with butter or margarine,
  5. Put a part of the dough into the form (rolled out to the size of the form, with a small two-centimeter margin to form the sides of the pie).
  6. Pour filling over dough and spread out.
