To prepare you will need:

  • Flour - 480 grams;
  • Yeast - 1 teaspoon dry or 12 grams live;
  • Sugar - 1.5 tablespoons;
  • Salt - 1-1.5 teaspoons;
  • Milk (warm) - 250 milliliters;
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons.

Cooking process:

1. Take a deep bowl and sift it into it, and then put about 150 grams into a separate bowl. Add salt, sugar and yeast to the flour (if the yeast is dry). Live yeast must first be dissolved in warm milk. Then you need to mix everything well so that all the ingredients are evenly distributed.

2. Now we need to add vegetable oil and warm milk, and then knead the dough. The dough may turn out a little damp and we need to add flour, which we just poured into a separate bowl.

3. The dough should be elastic and smooth, and it should not stick to your hands. When the dough is kneaded, it needs to be placed in a bag and put in a warm place so that it can rise. Our dough will take approximately 50-60 minutes to reach.

4. When the dough is completely ready, knead it thoroughly and divide it into two equal parts. Roll out the dough for the loaf into a rectangular shape.

5. Roll the resulting rectangles of dough into rolls, while slightly stretching it. When rolling is completed, make pinches.

6. Place the resulting loaves on a greased baking sheet, be sure to pinch them down. Preheat the oven to 30 degrees and place them there to proof for 10 minutes. After the allotted time, take out the baking sheet and make cuts on the loaves, and then put them back in the oven for 25 minutes. When the time is right, you need to take them out and brush them with beaten egg, and preheat the oven to 180-190 degrees. Bake the greased bread for 25-30 minutes.

7. After the allotted time, check with a toothpick to ensure the dough is completely baked. The aromas of cooking such baked goods can make you choke on your saliva.

How to bake a homemade loaf in the oven

In a small container with warm water, stir the yeast until it is completely dissolved. The temperature of the liquid should not exceed 40 degrees, so as not to spoil them.


Pour warm milk into a deep bowl, add mixed yeast water, salt, sugar and olive oil.


Using a spatula, mix all the added ingredients until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Then I add 300 g of flour and start kneading the dough. First I do this with a spatula, and then with my hands.


Gradually adding the remaining flour, knead the dough until it stops sticking to your hands and is smooth and elastic.


I cover the bowl with the dough with a towel and put it in a warm place so that it rises. Ideally, the volume should triple, then the bread will be incredibly soft.


To bake the same fluffy milk loaf as in the recipe, it is important to form it correctly before putting it in the oven. To begin, sprinkle the work surface with flour, place the dough on it and roll it out thinly with a rolling pin.


Now I roll it up like a roll, at the end I pinch the edge and sides well so that the loaf does not lose its shape during baking.


After that, I transfer it to a baking sheet sprinkled with flour so that it does not stick to it. Using a sharp knife, I make slanting cuts on the top of the loaf and leave it for 40 minutes to rise a little more.


Before baking, I brush the bread with egg, just shaking it a little with a fork.


I heat the oven to 200 degrees, then bake the loaf in milk for 30 minutes. While I'm waiting for it to come out of the oven, the whole house is filled with the wonderful aroma of fresh homemade bread. Heat the milk to body temperature (approximately 36 degrees). Dissolve table salt and granulated sugar in milk. Then add fresh yeast. Stir the yeast in warm milk, leave for 5 minutes so that it begins its “yeast” work.

Place the pan on a wire rack installed on the middle shelf. Baking temperature 220 degrees. Baking time 17 minutes.


Take the finished yeast bread out of the oven and place it on a wooden wire rack or bamboo sticks so that the crust does not steam as it cools.
