  • Rice - 150 g
  • Eggs - 2 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil - for greasing the baking dish
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Honey - 2 tbsp.

Step-by-step preparation of rice casserole with apples, recipe with photo:


1. First wash the rice well under several waters and boil until almost done. To do this, fill it with water in a ratio of 1:2, season with salt and cook for 10 minutes so that the rice completely absorbs all the water. Then transfer the rice to a sieve and rinse. Add honey and chicken yolks.


2. Mix the products so that they are well distributed throughout the entire mass. If honey causes allergies, then use sugar.


3. Wash and dry the apples. Remove the refill box and cut into medium-sized cubes or grate on a coarse grater. You can peel or leave the peel, it’s a matter of taste. Add apples to rice mixture and stir to combine.


4. Beat the whites with a mixer until white and airy and have stable peaks.


5. Add the beaten egg whites to the rice mixture.


6. Gently mix the products so that the whites do not fall off and place the mixture in a baking dish, which is greased with a thin layer of vegetable or butter.


7. Heat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the rice casserole with apples for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. If the finished dish is consumed immediately after cooking, the casserole will be tender and airy. After cooling it will become denser and harder.

To prepare the casserole we need rice, water, milk, sugar, salt, butter, cinnamon, apples.

While the porridge is cooking, you need to boil the milk. And after 10-12 minutes of cooking the porridge, pour boiling milk into it, stir, close the lid and continue cooking for another 10 minutes.

Peel the apples and remove seeds. To prevent them from darkening, place them in 1 liter of water, acidified with lemon juice.
